Our commitment.

Network Charlotte is designed and built to be usable by everyone, including people who navigate the web with screen readers, keyboards, voice control, or other assistive technology. We're actively working toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance across the site.

What we do.

• Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy.
• Meaningful alt text on all images that convey information.
• Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
• Color contrast at or above WCAG AA thresholds (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and non-text).
• Every form field has an associated label.
• Keyboard-only users can reach and operate every feature.
• Respect for prefers-reduced-motion.
• Screen-reader-only text where visual context alone isn't enough.

Where we're still working.

Charlotte is under active rebuild. Some pages inherit design decisions from earlier iterations that are still being audited. The events calendar, member profile pages, and host and sponsor admin surfaces are being built with accessibility as a first-class requirement, not a retrofit.

Third-party content.

Group listings link out to third-party websites we don't control. We can't guarantee those sites are accessible. If you find one that's not, tell us and we'll note it in the directory.
