Ambassadors run the room. Check members in, greet arrivals, introduce people, keep the energy warm, run the Member Spotlight. The reason a good event feels good.
What ambassadors do at events
- Check members in on the tablet as they arrive (scan QR ticket or type name)
- Handle walk-ins with on-the-spot registration
- Warm greeting; introduce first-timers to the host and to at least one member
- Watch for conversation gaps and make an intro when they see one
- Close down with the host after the event (headcount, feedback capture)
The Member Spotlight
Pull a card, pass the mic.
Members who want a shot at the mic drop their card in the bucket. Ambassador draws one at the top of each event and hands them 60 seconds to pitch what they do and who they're looking to meet. Winner of the room, one at a time.
